The purpose of the Student Occupational Therapy Association
(SOTA) is to advocate and further the profession of occupational
therapy as well as represent the interests of the Student Body, keep
the administration informed to these interests, and work with the
administration to make changes that benefit the entire Occupational
Therapy Student Body thereby serving their unique, academic,
non-academic, and social interests. SOTA will also provide the
Occupational Therapy Student Body with additional means of
education, to improve the general knowledge base of the surrounding
the community of the benefits of Occupational Therapy and promote
professionalism within our field.
