Flyer for CAN Community Health : HIV Basics and LGBTQ Care

This presentation seeks to foster greater awareness, empathy, and action towards equality and inclusion by discussing topics such as HIV and LGBTQ+ care that should be addressed and spoken about more openly. Bring your questions as this is a judgement free zone! Join us as we all take part in ending the stigma with HIV, sexual health, and harm reduction as a whole.

Light snacks will be provided. We will also be raffling a $25 gift card to a lucky student attending the presentation! We hope to see you there!

Aariel Lauria

CAN Community Health

Aariel Lauria (she/her) is a Public Health and HIV Prevention Advocate of CAN Community. She has a background in harm reduction-based healthcare as well as mortuary services. Her field has developed her passion for saving lives through education. With her experiences, she strives to take part in ending the stigma of HIV and encouraging others to practice harm reduction.
