Shantara Howell

Shantara Howell is a proud native of Long Beach, CA. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Tuskegee University and her Master’s of Arts in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Shantara has provided mental health services to children, teens, and adults in acute settings, like inpatient psych hospitals, state mental hospitals, and residential treatment centers. She has also participated in community outreach initiatives to raise mental health awareness, such a youth program called Hip-Hop Heals. Shantara is currently in pursuit of her professional license as a Clinical Professional Counselor. Shantara also finds great joy in working in Student Counseling Services to support TUN students.
