Signs of HOPE

My name is Myah Phillips. I use she/they pronouns and I am so excited to start here! I have always been passionate about helping people. I am currently still in school to get my BCBA certification with a focus in primary special education, but I have been working with children in some capacity ever since I was 16. I worked as a Child Assault Prevention Facilitator in 2019 before the program got shut down due to the pandemic. Since then, I transitioned to working with children with different needs, working in special education programs before getting my certification to work as a Registered Behavior Technician. My primary focus has always been making sure that all aspects of education are accessible to those who want/need it. At home, I have a two-year-old, so when I’m not working full time and in school, I am singing, dancing, and playing kick the ball with him!
