Psy.D.

Dr. Stephanie Woodard is the Nevada State Mental Health Authority and the Single State Authority for Substance Abuse. She provides oversight and quality assurance to behavioral health providers statewide and designs, plans, funds, and implements systems of care, including behavioral health prevention, early intervention, and treatment and recovery support services. 



 



In her position with the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services she evaluates outcomes of behavioral health interventions, and guides policy and financing options across the Department. 



 



Dr. Woodard’s area of clinical and research interest has been focused on behavioral health integration, co-occurring disorders, and mindfulness-based treatments. She is a licensed psychologist and received her Doctor of Clinical Psychology from Stanford University, and her Master of Science in Counselor Education from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
